Today's story...
Do you remember the first time your parents let you do something alone? The first time you went outside without mom watching from the porch, the first time you walked to school alone, the first time you got to drive yourself to school or stand on the bus stop by yourself? Imagine if the time you did any of those things had been your last.
A young boy in NY asked his parents for the same opportunity we have all had.. to simply walk home alone. The boy asked for directions from a "safe place".. a security guard. This security guard kidnapped the child and held him captive.
A search for the missing child ensued shortly after the child was taken.
Police say that the suspect became scared when he realized how big the search for the 8 year old had become. The man panicked and killed the child.
Wednesday morning the child's dismembered body was found in a trash bin outside the suspect's home.
This story is beyond upsetting and disheartening. What do you think?
thats insane makes me never want my kids to walk home alone and they probably never will lol
